Filmed entirely in Cumbernauld, Glasgow over the course of five days spread across three months. In true Alex fashion, he masterfully mixes tech and burly in this four minute heater. “Cumbernauld – a post-war “New Town” built in the 1950s to ease Glasgow’s overcrowding – might not be the first place that comes to mind for riding BMX, but its maze of concrete walkways, underpasses, and brutalist architecture tells a different story. The idea to film a full video here has been on my mind for many years now and after seeing a lot of the spots disappearing due to redevelopment the clock was ticking.” – Alex Donnachie
