Robin Slootmaker has been on a tear lately, slaying downledges on multiple continents this year. I’ve always loved the aesthetic when a stair ledge goes all the way down to the ground, awesome stuff start to finish.
”In a continued effort to put Taiwan on the BMX destination map and unlock new spots, I was hoping to wrap this crust video up a bit sooner, but I as most know life gets in the way when you’re making plans. After filming a couple clips while still on my work trip in Thailand (before the Infamous Far East video) I thought I had a good foundation going. Unfortunately, due to extenuating circumstances, including my main riding buddy in Taipei, Eddie, getting hurt; the process for this crust left me a bit dusted. At this juncture I try to l focus on finding set ups that just feel good, nothing complex about it. Metal pegs, rough cement, bumps, and grinds. Filmed mostly by the homies over the last 4 months with a bunch of self filmed missions and even and my wife picking up the camera on occasion.”
