Hurricane Ian was a deadly and extremely destructive Category 5 Atlantic hurricane, which was the third-costliest weather disaster on record, the deadliest hurricane to strike the state of Florida since the 1935 Labor Day hurricane. A byproduct of this tragedy was the remanence of damage left a unique wasteland of beach resorts turned into destructive spots. Months after Ian made landfall, Trey Jones, Marcel Anderson, Dave McDermot, and filmer Chris Gregson roamed the coast of one city to explore those spots. Riding these spots and respecting the loss of property/life are not mutually exclusive and we are not making light of the tragedy surrounding Hurricane Ian.
