Well this is an All Time Low, Crandall just announced that as of January 1st, the FBM machine shop has closed it’s doors and FBM will no longer be manufacturing bikes, The Bar Is Closed, so to speak. Heartbreaking really, I think nearly everyone would agree FBM was about as core as a BMX company could be, inspiring multiple generations to pack up a van and go get Lost In America. A lot of companies run by true bmxers follow a simple 2 step pattern, Live Fast Die, but FBM kept the 1000 Yard Stare going for over 20 years. So throw some Half & Half in your coffee and rewatch their absolute classic, ALBERT ST, then check out Crandall’s awesome new bmx based community program, Radshare.
